I'm really tall (or short) - Can I custom order a costume?
Yes. I do limited custom costumes made to order. I can usually make something SIMILAR to anything I have available online in 4 - 6 weeks. If it is a completely custom order (not based on something I already have online), I can give you a specific quote via email.
How do I wash the item?
Since each garment is a one-of-a-kind item, I don't have standard "everything is washable" rules. Each item is noted individually how to care for it either on a care tag inside the garment, or a hang tag outside the garment (or both). I will try to indicate in the description of the item the care instructions, and you can always email me for more details if neccessary.
I also try to indicate (as accurately as possible) the fabric content as well (ie. cotton, wool, polyester, silk, etc.) since there are a few of us allergic to certain fibers.
How do you size your clothes?
Most of my costumes are made from historical garments or patterns and do not run the same as modern day clothing. I rarely put modern sizes in my costumes. I will measure the garment in key places (neck, bust/chest/sleeve length, etc) to give you an idea of the garment size.
As a rule, your measurements should be SMALLER than the garment measurements so you have room to move. If you plan on wearing a corset, waist cincher, undershirt, long johns, etc, under your costume, I suggest you put those items on before taking your measurements. Also, it is helpful to have a friend take your measurements, as it requires a great deal of flexibilty to take your own...
Can I combine several items for better shipping prices?
You bet! Just drop me an email BEFORE you pay for your items and I'll see what I can do to combine your order for better shipping rates. As long as it's all going to the same address, I'll do my best to keep the shipping as low as possible!
What are your shipping policies?
I will ship your item within three business days of receipt of payment - unless more information from you is needed to complete the transaction.
I ship everything USPS (with Delivery Confirmation) unless specifically requested by you to use your own UPS or FedEx account. I highly recommend buying the insurance offered by USPS since I will not be held responsible for lost or damaged items during shipping. I package everything in sturdy but light weight bags or boxes and try to keep shipping costs down. Below are the prices for insurance. Please add the amount desired to your payment.

Insurance may be purchased for an additional fee for USPS Priority International shipments.
International shipping can take UP TO 8 WEEKS for delivery, depending on weather conditions, your location and the size of the package.
I am NOT RESPONSIBLE for your country's Customs fees - these are NOT extra shipping fees and I DO NOT profit from any Customs fees incurred by you. If you have questions about Customs fees, please contact your postal service for more information and prices on receiving International shipments.
How can I leave feedback?
According to eCrater: "Qualified buyers - ones that paid instantly using only PayPal or google checkout - receive an email from email@example.com with a link at the time the payment was made and again about 20 days later. They must have that link to leave feedback.
KEEP in mind MANY mail systems put all noreply emails in the trash or spam folder - IF they deliver them at all. AOL is known for not delivering such emails."

What is your return policy?
If you have questions about an item or the shipping costs, please ask BEFORE buying the item. I will refund money for items that are returned UNWORN, UNALTERED and within 15 days of payment ONLY if correspondence and approval from Jenn's Dream has occured about the item in question.
On non-clothing items, I do not offer refunds so please read the descriptions carefully and ask any questions before making your purchase.
I do not refund shipping/insurance charges.
I reserve the right to refuse refunds to those who do not follow these guidelines.
